Magical Mystery Tour

You know, alot of books and such say this is the album that marked the begining of the end of The Beatles. In some cases they are right. However, I believe that this is just one of the many albums that is misunderstood. I wonder if any of those writers have taken the time to really listen to this record. I don't care what anyone says Magical Mystery Tour will litterally take you on one. I'm not saying I like the movie, but..... Ok anyway we have John's track Strawberry Fields Forever and Paul's Penny Lane. It really is hard to decide between the two, Penny Lane was a number one song, but Strawberry Fields Forever has that something you look for in s song. My theory is that this song, Strawberry Fields, was way ahead of it's time and underappeciated. But, let's not overate it. Don't get me wrong, Penny Lane is a lovely song and has every right to be a number one. Actually this album has 3 number one hits! Penny Lane, All You Need Is Love and Hello, Goodbye. All You Need Is Love is a splendid song that lead a generation of teenagers throught the summers of love, everyone loved this song, it spoke out to the 60's teenagers and that's why you and I love it :) Blue Jay Way and Fool On The Hill are the two most underated songs on this record, Blue Jay Way is a sitar tune, which I love, that speaks of an actual place in California and from what I've heard the sign has been stolen once or twice but I don't blame them. When I first heard this song it was like I was entering some type of void I really do wish I could hear it again! Fool On The Hill is Paul's song with the flute solo and and Paul and John's clever lyrics make up this song, later John ( or was it Paul? ) said that this song was "Somewhat like the Maharishi" I can see where he's coming from! I Am The Walrus and Hello, Goodbye just show how John and Paul write their songs As I sad about Sgt. Pepper's, there is not enough one can say about this track. John recalled that this was his favorite track as well, and it's mine and it should be yours too! John had the lyrics right, I can listen to this song for hours and never get tired of it. That just goes to show you.... but you wouldn't want to hear me ramble on about this song go here for more info! Your Mother Should Know is one of my favorite Paul piano songs I love it, man! Baby, You're a Rich Man is very underated, and alot are, people don't see the song in all it's glory :) Well, I'll give your eyes a rest.
